On a beautiful, unseasonably warm Friday in December, 93 guests gathered to enjoy the annual Flin Flon Christmas luncheon in Winnipeg. There were some new faces in the group. We were thrilled to see Bert Stevens arrive with his daughter Sandy Gauthier. Bert was a long-time resident of Flin Flon who retired from HBM&S in 1986 as an electrical foreman.
The banquet hall was decorated with large Christmas wreathes on the walls, and a spectacular Christmas tree brightened up the room. We had a roast turkey dinner with a variety of sides.
