A Crown prosecutor who has worked on some of Flin Flon’s high-profile criminal cases is northern Manitoba’s newest judge.
Justice Minister Heather Stefanson recently announced the appointment of Todd Rambow to the provincial court in Thompson.
“Judge Rambow has made Manitoba’s north his home for nearly a decade and this experience, combined with his legal expertise, make him well-suited to serve the justice system in Thompson now and into the future,” Stefanson said in a news release.
Rambow received his law degree in 1993. In 2006, he joined the Manitoba government as a The Pas-based prosecutor.
Rambow worked on the case of James Desmarais, a Flin Flon man found guilty of a 2011 homicide, among other cases.
