It was a banner weekend for Hapnot Collegiate as both the girls’ and boys’ soccer teams won the Zone 11 championships in Thompson.
The Kweens played four round-robin games, and placed first overall.
The Kings played three games.
It was believed to be the Kweens’ 10th straight zones victory, and the ninth time in 10 years the Kings have prevailed.
Both teams played the Thompson RDPC Trojans in the finals and will move on to provincials, representing Zone 11 against nine other teams in Steinbach on October 16, 17 and 18.
