The Uptown Curling Club will host the Golden Gals playoffs this week starting with the first draw today at 10 a.m. The playdowns includes Thompson, Snow Lake and The Pas as well as Flin Flon. However as Rita Chute, chair woman for this event laughingly stated, " I guess there are no seniors anywhere else" since Flin Flon has six teams entered but no other out-of-town entries were received. There will be two draws today and tomorrow (Thursday, November 27) and one on Friday. The draws are at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Come out and watch some great curling at the Uptown Curling Club.
