Flin Flon Dart Players collectively produced one of the best overall performances for local players in the 25-year history of the Manitoba Dart Association Provincial Playoffs last weekend in Winnipeg. This year's Manitoba Men's Team will include Perry Burton and Brian Humphreys with Gary Lyons as first alternate. Jackie Davis and Shannon Reimer will take their place on the Manitoba Ladies' Team in Prince Edward Island later in June. Dot Nash, Gwen Blatz and Lawrence Balfour also put in some very solid performances during the tournament held at the Howard Johnson. Canadian National Singles Champion Rory Orvis won the Provincial Men's Singles title over Gerry Convery. Dianne Becker took the Ladies Singles Championship over Angie Wark.
