Canadian Junior 'A' Hockey League attendance reached 1,383,849 in nine of 10 member leagues through the holiday break. The British Columbia Hockey League leads with total attendance of 353,912 through 319 games, for an average of 1,109 fans per game. The Alberta Junior Hockey League and Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League have also surpassed 200,000 fans each. The Grande Prairie Storm leads 137 CJAHL teams with an average of 2,367 fans per home game. Grande Prairie has attracted 40,239 fans to 17 home games, and is this year's host of the Royal Bank Cup. The Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL are second with an average of 2,211 fans per home game. Nanaimo leads the CJAHL with total attendance of 46,422 through 21 home games. The Vernon Vipers of the BCHL are averaging 1,958 fans per home game. Vernon has attracted 37,204 fans to 19 home games. The Flin Flon Bombers lead the SJHL, with paid attendance of 20,427 in 15 home games, averaging 1,362 fans per game. In 213 games this season, the SJHL has seen 171,109 fans, averaging 803 per game. Across the border in Manitoba, the league has attracted 10,112 fans in 216 games, for an average of 491 per game.
