Forest fires kept Highway 106 (Hanson Lake Road) between Creighton and the Pelican Narrows junction closed late Wednesday afternoon, nine days after the closure first took effect.
Highway 135, which stretches from Highway 106 to Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay, was also closed as of 4:15 pm Wednesday.
