The CIBC along with Northland Ford will be sponsoring the Run for the Cure, to held fight breast cancer. To date, the local CIBC branch has raised over $1,533, by having their 'Think Pink' week, with bake sales and also a raffle. People can still get tickets for the raffle at the CIBC or at Northland Ford. The run will take place this Sunday, October 5 at Flinty's Boardwalk staring at 1 p.m. Northland Ford will have their 'Vehicle for Hope' at the site. Featured on the car are magnets that they are selling for a Toonie and people can place the name of someone who has survived breast cancer or of someone who has succumbed to the disease. The magnets will be saved from year to year and hopefully soon the car will be covered with survivor's names. Northland Ford will also be serving hot dogs and drinks after the run. The CIBC and Northland Ford encourage everyone to come out, participate in the run and help raise money to find a cure for breast cancer. See you there!
