A large hole has been dug in the Flin Flon General Hospital parking lot in preparation for construction of the new emergency department. “The area currently being worked on at the front of the hospital is the new drive through and double ambulance bay,” said Twyla Storey, spokeswoman for the Northern Health Region (NHR). “Work being performed in the area at the back of the hospital and the Whitney Forum parking lot is to prepare the area for parking and safe access into the facility.” Porters are on site to assist the public into the hospital.
