The Flin Flon Lions Club welcomes District Governor Lion Louise Kernested to its Charter Night this evening.
Kernested, of Stonewall, Manitoba, oversees Lions clubs across Manitoba (minus Winnipeg) and northwestern Ontario.
She will be on hand tonight, Wednesday, at the Northern Room of the Victoria Inn as the local Lions celebrate their 62nd anniversary with a dinner and awards ceremony.
The Flin Flon Lions Club executive for 2015-16 consists of president Andy Stewart; past-president Andy Wasylciw; first vice-president Wayne Streamer; second vice-president Ken Mansell; third-vice-president Joe Bradford; secretary Isabel Stewart; treasurer Monica Lone; membership chair Terry McLennan; Lion Tamer Peg Bradford; Tail Twister John Kuzub; one-year directors Joe McCormick and Terry McLennan; and two-year directors Joe Bradford and Debbie Kuzub.
