Flin Flon RCMP are interested in speaking to the owner of a red pickup truck that was seen parked in the Bargain Shop parking lot earlier this month.
Police say it’s part of their investigation into an alleged instance of a motorist leaving the scene of an accident in which damage occurred.
RCMP said a collision occurred on April 1 in the Bargain Shop parking lot. They supplied a photo of the truck in the parking lot at 12:48 pm that day.
Police believe the truck is a Chevrolet but said it could also be a GM. No licence plate was observed, so officers do not know the province of registration.
RCMP said there is no rush for people to call police or Crime Stoppers if they observe the vehicle, but they would like to know who owns it.
Police said they have observed a few vehicles in the community that match the vehicle’s description, but one difference with the truck in question is that it has a silver box.
RCMP ask the owner of the vehicle, or people who know who owns the vehicle, to contact the Flin Flon detachment at 204-687-1423 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
