A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of
Jan. 19 to 25:
Monday, Jan. 19
• Report of a male who was assaulted by his ex-roommate while sleeping on Bellevue Avenue; victim declined to lay charges.
• Report of damage to multiple vehicles on South Main Street; passenger side mirrors broken off.
• Police attended a two-vehicle collision at the corner of Green Street and Highway 10A; one vehicle was struck from behind by a second vehicle that was waiting to make a left turn onto Green Street; road conditions determined to be a factor.
• Police responded to a noise complaint on Hill Street; while on scene, police observed an intoxicated female who had a warrant for her arrest; she was arrested and lodged until sober.
Tuesday, Jan. 20
• Report of a missing youth on Second Avenue; police located her a short time later.
Wednesday, Jan. 21
• Report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at Aspen Grove; he was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an assault on Hill Street; female caller did not want any charges in regards to the assault but wanted her phone back and thought that calling in the assault would help.
• Report of an intoxicated female at a residence on Ross Street who was refusing to leave; police attended and the female was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a vehicle leaking antifreeze on Hapnot Street.
Thursday, Jan. 22
• Report of a youth uttering threats to another youth on Princess Boulevard; matter still under investigation.
• Police attended a residence on Parkway Boulevard due to remarks made on Facebook; investigation revealed that it was a conversation over song lyrics.
• Police responded to an assault call at Aspen Grove; investigation revealed that it was a consensual fight.
Saturday, Jan. 24
• Police attended to an alarm call on Main Street that was cancelled prior to their arriving on scene.
• Report of an assault on Second Avenue; a 26-year-old male has been arrested and charged with assault, mischief and failing to comply with a probation order; he was remanded in custody.
• Report of a male who had been stabbed in the leg on Callinan Street; he did not cooperate with police and refused to provide a statement.
• Report of a disturbance on Bellevue Avenue between an ex-common-law couple.
• Report of a disturbance on Hill Street between a common-law couple.
• Report of loud music being played at an apartment at Aspen Grove; music was turned down prior to police arriving on scene.
• Report of a sister in Aspen Grove wanting her brother removed from the residence because he was intoxicated; police attended and the male was brought to a friend’s residence.
• Report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance at a local hotel; she left prior to police arriving on scene.
• Report from a mother on Second Avenue reporting that she believed her 12-year-old daughter was high on marijuana again.
• Report from a woman at Aspen Grove who said her 15-year-old daughter was high on marijuana.
• Police assisted EMS at a residence on Centennial Crescent for a male who intoxicated and having hallucinations; he was transported to Flin Flon General Hospital and investigation revealed he was suffering from injuries due to a snowmobile collision earlier in the day.
Sunday, Jan. 25
• Numerous complaints received relating to a residence on Hapnot Street.
• Report of a broken window at a residence on Parkway Boulevard believed to have been caused during a house party next door.
