My husband, Jake, and I have been Denare Beach property owners for 10 years and have been permanent residents for eight and a half years.
I am very familiar with the area as we resided in Flin Flon for 10 years before moving away and always felt we would like to come back to the area to retire. We always loved Denare Beach and enjoyed the warm and friendly community spirit.
I believe strongly in that community spirit and would welcome the opportunity, as a council member, to help keep our village safe, happy, healthy and prosperous.
Though I have never been on a council, I have served on the executive committees and boards of various community organizations over the years. I feel that this experience would stand me well if I should be elected to the Northern Village of Denare Beach Council.Advertisement
