In spite of grey skies and a bit of a breeze, 74 skiers showed up for the Flin Flon Ski Club’s 41st annual Val and Ivor Hedman Centaloppet last Sunday, Mar. 6.
This was one of the best turnouts in recent years – and organizers were happy to have event founder Ivor on hand to enjoy the activities.
Participants ranged in age from 4 to 76 with many skiers touring around the loop in fancy dress. All enjoyed some excellent food in the chalet once they’d crossed the finish line.
All are looking forward to the 42nd running of the Val and Ivor Hedman Centaloppet in 2017.
