Les Alexander Les Alexander, founder of Alexanders Auto Ranch, passed away peacefully Friday, November 11, 2005, at the age of 82 years. He was born on April 21, 1923, in a log cabin on the south bank of the Elm River. He was blessed with gifts from his wife, Betty, who gave him sons Rick and Rod, twin daughters Brenda (Gilmore) and Barbara (Reader) and Carol (passed away October 1953). He served his country, people and family the best he could. Les was the originator of the Gas Bar and Alexanders Auto Ranch. His R.C.A.F. record log is in the Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where the Avro Anson bomber he flew in W.W.II is featured. What a country we have. Les started his life with our country carrying him. His life ends with our country carrying him. Les' last words were always "Gratitude and thanks to all. Goodbye." A private family service will be held. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Diabetes Society, c/o Christie's, 115 Main Street, Flin Flon. Dadson Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. 204-687-5821 Online condolences may be made at www.dadsonfuneralhome.com.11/18/2005
