The second Flin Flon luncheon of 2016 was held at Winnipeg’s Viscount Gort Hotel on April 1, the first Friday of the month.
It was a lovely spring day for a gathering of 53 guests who enjoyed lively conversation and a wonderful dinner.
There were three guests who joined us for the first time. Kay deJong (Greenberg) came with her brother Joe. Kay recently moved to Winnipeg from Flin Flon.
Doug and Dona O’Brien were visiting Winnipeg from Flin Flon and came to renew old friendships. We sincerely hope they will come again soon.

The Flin Flon luncheons are always held on the first Friday of the month (unless that day happens to be a holiday; then the luncheon is on the Thursday before).
We meet for our spring luncheons in March, April and May. The fall luncheons are in October, November and December.
Here are the dates of the next four luncheons held at the Viscount Gort Hotel: Friday, May 6; Friday, Oct. 7; Friday, Nov. 4; and Friday, Dec. 2. Please mark these dates in your calendars and make it a point to attend if you are in the city.
